Cancel domain invoice on transferred away

When a domain is marked as transferred away, the associated invoice needs to be cancelled.

I honestly cannot believe this isn't already built into WHMCS - invoices are cancelled for domains that expire already

For most companies operating inside of Europe/EU/EEA the action to cancel og delete an invoice is not allowed by law.
The correct way for all those companies is to issue a credit note invoice as suggested here:
https://requests.whmcs.com/idea/credit-note-in-compliance-with-uk-vat-legislation

If WHMCS will allow to set invoice to cancelled automatically or delete an invoice, at least this needs to be an option under settings.

Crazy that this is not already covered!! You have us charging clients for services we no longer provide, with no alert to admin about what is happening. Completely blind-sided by this! Makes us appear dishonest... :-/
