This was suggested by user Tommy Kokko in another thread, and WHMCS Chris suggested opening a new thread to discuss it, so I'm going to do it :)
Why not a report generator where you can sort and filter any info in the database, including custom fields?

The main problem is that we as a community don't vote for this important feature request,

there are lots of feature request regarding reports - I think that adding a report generator is something basic for WHMCS - to pay 100$ a year for such a module is unrealistic (to say the least).
Whmcs - please please integrate such a module in the basic WHMCS system.

Soon we will release updated version with even more features.
There is so much information in the system - and so little is available in the current reports.
We need a way to analyse more information - such as:
Affiliates activity:
the type and amount of products and the amount of money (monthly and one time) that was "sold" (order that was manually set to an affiliate or actually received from him) by each affiliate in a specific time-frame (specific day, week, month, monthly progress and so on).
Quotes:
the type and amount of products and the amount of money (monthly and one time) that was offered to customers by each sales rep in a specific time-frame (specific day, week, month, monthly progress and so on).
The success rate per sales rep (amount of accepted quotes from all the quotes offered)in a specific time-frame (specific day, week, month, monthly progress and so on).
Custom fields in the tickets system:
all the information in the custom fields per ticket in a specific time-frame (specific day, week, month, monthly progress and so on).
Custom fields in the client profile:
all the information in the custom fields.
tickets:
Tickets by admin - list and status of all the ticket that are set to each admin (operator) in a specific time-frame (specific day, week, month, monthly progress and so on).
We have to have a way to filter tickets by admin - if i'm (as a manager) want to see all the tickets that are flaged to one of my operators (and only him) - the only way to do it is login with his information...
and so on and so on.
Please Please Please add a report generator with all the information in the system.
It is great that we can add custom fields for the support ticket and to client profile, but if you'r not an PHP programmer - there is no easy way to create a new report that will represent the info in the new custom fields...
Please add this future in the upcoming release.
