I thought I was missing something however despite being able to change due dates I cannot change the order of tasks.
The only work around is to re create entire tasks lists.
To be able to change the order of each task within a project would be a huge time saver.

Project Manager - Sort by Task Due Date (or any Custom Sorting)
The paid Project Management addon can be a very powerful tool.Currently there is no way for customers to sort tasks or for admins to change the sorting for customers.The problem lies when adding tasks down the road with various different due dates. This causes the tasks to seemingly appear in a random order to customers with no way to change it. It looks a little bit unprofessional and makes things confusing.I propose any of the following solutions to this problem:A) A way to allow manual sorting of the tasks on the Project pageB) Allow the customer to sort by due dateC) Making sorting by due date the defaultLet me know your thoughts.

I'm pleased to advise we've implemented custom sort order on tasks in v2.2 of the Project Management addon, included with WHMCS v7.8.3!
You can now drag and drop tasks into your desired order.
